Village Well has a strong relationship with the ongoing transformation of Adelaide City. Over the last 12 years we have supported the development of the Rundle Mall masterplan, City of Adelaide’s retail and digital strategy, the refurbishment of Adelaide’s GPO, and Adelaide Central Market Arcade.

How we did it:

• Place analysis workshops with members of City of Adelaide and RMMA to understand gaps and opportunities for future direction of Rundle Mall

• Strategic engagement and discussions with local community and stakeholders including traders, consumers, visitors and hard to reach groups

• Development of place-based recommendations for Rundle Mall

• Workshop facilitation

Outcomes

• Engagement outcomes and recommendations from Rundle Mall User Validation Study ultimately provided the framework for developing the future Rundle Mall masterplan

• Introduced a place-led focus to market research process
