Brookfield Multiplex and Frasers Property engaged Village Well to create a place vision and activation strategy for Lots 9 and 10 of the Elizabeth Quay waterfront precinct. As the first stage of development, this project played a critical role in shaping public perception of the Quay and establishing a compelling city experience along Perth’s riverfront.

Village Well worked collaboratievely to co-create and articulate a place identity that aligned with the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s placemaking values and helped deliver a legacy destination for Perth.

Place of Vision

"Perth’s vibrant waterfront – a welcoming destination where culture, cuisine and community meet by the water"

Impact & Result

Impact

  • Developed the place vision and brand positioning for the Carillon Quarter which became a thriving destination in Perth’s CBD

  • Created a detailed events calendar, “Landmark Events at the Quay,” to support year-round visitation

  • Proposed design strategies to showcase storytelling of place and Perth identity

Village Well’s placemaking strategy was instrumental in shaping the narrative and urban character of Lots 9 and 10 at Elizabeth Quay.
