Context

Despite the world-class offerings of Mark Moran Vaucluse, the precinct faced challenges in activating its spaces and attracting foot traffic, leaving its vibrant potential untapped. The precinct represents a new paradigm in aged care, blending luxury with wellness to create a precinct which respects and promotes intergenerational connection to assist with positive ageing.


Village Well was engaged to reposition the site as a dynamic destination and reignite the team to activate placemaking strategies in their work. A shared vision with the Mark Moran Group was developed to enhance activation.

Village Well’s placemaking strategy breathed new life into Mark Moran Vaucluse, empowering the precinct to reclaim its identity as a vibrant, inclusive destination. The vision and recommendations provided a roadmap for the Mark Moran team to take initiative in their place activation and transform their challenges into opportunities for success.
