Frasers Property engaged Village Well to shape the place vision and strategy for Burwood Brickworks, a mixed-use development on the site of a former brickworks in Burwood East. As an ambitious sustainable precinct and future local hub, the site needed a clear identity, community relevance, and long-term place management plan. Village Well was engaged to develop a vision that was inclusive, future-focused, and locally grounded, while also guiding design, leasing, and activation plans across retail, open space, and residential areas.

Village Well’s strategic Place Vision and Strategy shaped a truly integrated and community-loved precinct, acting as a strong brief for architects, landscape designers, and leasing team. The final outcome successfully set a new benchmark for suburban mixed-use developments and sustainable shopping centres.
